We are seeking input from our industry partners as part of this consideration. Rio Puerto Nuevo supplemental contract 7 will frame the discussions, but the focus of the discussions will be indsutry interest and concerns with the use of Design-Build procedures on this type of project. Details related to the scope of Contract 7 will only be discussed to the extent necessary to provide programmatic context to this topic. Discussions will be held in person on Tuesday, August 20 beginning at 0800 at the address below. The project will be introduced as well as the design-build process, followed by open forum discussion with the large group. 'One-on-one' discussions with USACE personnel will also be offered in 30 minute time slots from 10:00-12:00 on a first come-first served basis, but emphasis should be placed on the interest and appropriateness of Design-Build procedures as opposed to general capabilities in these discussions as well. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP for both the event and one-on-one discussions, if interested, at earliest convenience to secure a time slot, but registration will be accepted on site prior to the start of discussions.
