Middleton Memorial VA Hospital located in Madison, WI. PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project involves construction to Replace Building 1 Windows. Building 1 is a historical (1949 era) building that is approximately 618,000 square foot in size that serves a number of the main hospital functions including, but not limited to surgical center, ambulatory surgery center, inpatient/outpatient pharmacies, many clinics, administrative space, emergency care, inpatient care, laboratories, research, long term care, inpatient mental health, intensive care units, an auditorium, commercial kitchens, retail, and associated support spaces. Work includes but is not limited to: Professional services (structural and architectural), general demolition and construction, interior and exterior alterations, and necessary removal of existing structures. ADMINISTRATIVE The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 million. The solicitation will be issued in late May 2026 to June 2026. The period of performance is approximately 450 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed.
