PROJECT DESCRIPTION The West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS) is seeking a general contractor to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for construction of a new community living center (building 28) as required by drawings and specifications. ADMINISTRATIVE The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 million. The solicitation will be issued in mid-March 2026.
