VA Northern California Health Care System located at 150 Muir Road, Martinez, CA 94553 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is to provide comprehensive Design Build services to Construct Parking Structure Replacing Expiring Lease. The new parking structure includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, administrative support, and any necessary professional engineering services required for the Design Build effort described therein. The purpose of this project is to construct a 350 spaces parking structure on the Martinez Campus. Construction will be on an existing parking lot with expected loss of 100 spaces to construction. Project will also result in the demolition of deficient temporary buildings, Building AB-5, AB-6, and AB-7. By the time of demolition these buildings will be empty/vacant. **ADMINISTRATIVE:** The anticipated solicitation will be issued as an RFP in accordance with FAR Part 36.3 Two Phase Design Build Selection Procedures and FAR Part 15 Negotiation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued in Summer 2024. The period of performance is approximately 460 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $15,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
