The Avid system includes six Media Composer workstations, Production Management, Media Asset Management, and Nexis shared storage. ILEAD intends to purchase and install four new HP Z8 G5 Avid Media Composer edit workstations to replace four existing Avid workstations. All Media Composer workstation hardware and software configurations must be vetted and approved by Avid for use with the VA-owned Media Central system. The VA will transfer the Media Composer software licenses from the existing workstations to these new workstations. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. ITEM This notice serves as the synopsis of the proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204 and FAR 5.201. The solicitation will be issued as Request for Quotes (RFQ) set-aside 100% for Small Business (SB) concerns conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.
