An item peculiar to one manufacturer can be a particular brand name, product, or a feature of a product, peculiar to one manufacturer). A brand name item, whether available on one or more schedule contracts, is an item peculiar to one manufacturer This is not a request for competitive quotes. Market research revealed that Natus Medical Inc is the manufacture and only vendor which has the EDX ultrasounds on their FSS schedule. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 334510 (Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies). While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement, including documentation from the Manufacturer Natus that such contractor could provide this service as an authorized reseller, authorized dealer or third party, along with FSS schedule showing the EDX Ultrasound on schedule.
