This is not a request for competitive quotes. Market research revealed that TransLogic is the only vendor who can provide the needed Maintenance services as they are the OEM of the Pneumatic Tube system currently utilized at the Iowa City VAMC. The maintenance services are proprietary to the OEM. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this service is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is J039 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Materials Handling Equipment). While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement, including documentation from the proprietary rights holder, Schneider Electric, that such contractor could provide this service as an authorized reseller, authorized dealer or third party.
