Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Please clearly identify any information your company considers sensitive or proprietary. MEDICAL DETOXIFICATION SERVICES: The contractor will accept Veterans for Detoxification Services are required to adequately treat Veteran s with Substance Abuse issues in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth by the Veteran s Health Administration authorized by the Fargo Veterans Affairs Medical & Regional Office Center, Substance Use Disorder Program (SUD). Specific requirements include: Social and Medical Detoxification Services: Detoxification Services provided in accordance with a State Licensed program that provides short-term care on a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week basis for the purpose of Detoxifying Clients, including emergent (from Fargo VA emergency department) detox service and facilitating access to chemical dependency treatment as indicated by an assessment of needs. Detoxification Services shall be consistent with all Veteran s Health Administration standards of Practice, and North Dakota-Minnesota Interstate Agreement allowing interstate provision of these services (as defined in MN Statute 245.50 and North Dakota Century Code Section Chapter 25.03.1-34-2). Licensed provider of Detoxification Services in the State where the facility is located, including but not limited to North Dakota and Minnesota. Licensing reciprocity may be acceptable in accordance with any applicable interstate agreements. Individual Treatment Plans will be developed upon admission of eligible treatment recipients and collaborated with the Fargo VA social workers and or mental health staff team. Patients referred shall be assigned an accepted or declined status within 60 minutes of transmission of Admission Intake for Telephone Referral form. The contractor will employ sufficient professional staff to carry out the policies, responsibilities, and programs of the facility. In Detox center, there must be a full-time administrative staff member or designee of equivalent professional capability on duty, on the premises or residing in facility and available for emergencies 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a new requirement. The anticipated contract is firm fixed price contract with services estimated to commence on January 1, 2025. All companies wishing to do business with the U.S. Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/. Please note that there is no fee to register in SAM.
