Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO23) intends to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for completion of construction Project Number: 656-18-301 Upgrade Building 51 HVAC at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System, St. Cloud, MN. The Contractor for this project shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to accomplish the Upgrade Building 51 Basement Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) in accordance with the specifications and contract drawings. This project involves, but is not limited to, replacement of aging and end-of-life HVAC systems in the basement of Building 51 with current technology in accordance with the current VA design standards. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, air handlers, heat exchangers, convectors, variable air volume (VAV’s), and controls. Adjacent corridor, basement of Building 51, first floor of Building 51, and second floor of building 51 will remain occupied by the VA throughout the construction phasing. Work affecting occupied areas shall be accomplished outside normal working hours if noise, dust, and other hazards cannot be satisfactorily mitigated per the specifications.
