VA requires the proprietary services of Alliant Healthcare Products, in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements because the software and services are unique or proprietary to Alliant Healthcare Products. Market research revealed that Alliant Healthcare Products is the exclusive authorized SDVOSB reseller of Olympus endoscopic and surgical products. These products are routinely used by the VA to provide surgical and preventative assistance for veterans in the VA Healthcare System. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811210 and the service code is 6515. While this synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government understands that Alliant Healthcare Products is the only vendor that can provide the requested services.
