## Description

Replace sections of damaged sidewalk panels, extruded curbing according to the VA medical Center standards and local MAG standards. Repair and replace joint seal A wing at junction of building where it connects to the adjoining section, seal to waterproof and ensure durability and longevity Ensure all work meets ADA accessibility standards and VA quality requirements Site Assessment and Preparation: Conduct a thorough site assessment to identify all sections requiring repair or replacement. Establish a safe work zone by installing barriers and signage to ensure patient and staff safety. Demolition and removal of the existing damaged sidewalk panels, curbing, and joint seals.

**Sidewalk Panels:** Replace the identified sidewalk panels using concrete with a minimum compressive strength of 3000 PSI. Ensure proper grading and leveling to meet ADA accessibility standards as outlined in VA Directive 6102 and the ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG).

**Barrier-Free Design Standard” Extruded Curbing:** Install extruded curbing to meet the VA Medical Center standards per the VA Technical Information Library (TIL). Ensure curbing meets the local MAG (Maricopa Association of Governments) Uniform Standard for Public Works Construction.

**Joint Seals:** Inspect, repair, and replace joint seals where necessary. Use high-quality, weather-resistant joint sealant to ensure durability and longevity.
