This notice is for a bridge contract for a period of three months, from 04/01/2024 to 06/30/2024 to ensure continuity of essential services while the competitive follow-on contract is being finalized. This procurement is justified as a sole source award to Mission Linen Supply due to the fact that it is not possible to award the planned follow-on contract in sufficient time to meet the government s requirements, in accordance with FAR 16.191(b). The contractor has demonstrated unique capabilities and expertise that are critical for ensuring continuity of services without disruption, which is paramount to the mission of the VHA.
