The Long Beach VA Healthcare System (LBVAHCS) located at 5901 East 7th Street, Long Beach, CA, 90822, is seeking a contractor to provide Electrical and lighting upgrade for the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located at VA Long Beach Healthcare System. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the required services. The services required include but are not limited to; Demo approximately 14 existing 2x4 lights Install 8 new 2x4 6000 LMHE 35K LED lights Install lighting control panels provided by others Use existing lighting circuit wired through the control panels to operate the new lights installed Adding two circuits for monitor display wall (Location of panel estimated to be approximately 150 ) Important Information: The Government is not obligated to - nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources-sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. However, if response by Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms proves inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be determined.
