The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) Office of Acquisitions, intends to issue a solicitation to seek a vendor who can provide all personnel, supplies, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide termite treatment, insect, and rodent treatment and control at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS) located at 5901 East 7th Street Long Beach, CA 90822. This is NOT a request for quotes, and is NOT an authorization to begin work, and does NOT commit the Government to purchase any services. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of any responses to this notice. The VALBHS is seeking a qualified contractor to provide pest control services to include the planning, development, management, operations and maintenance for pest control and removal at or on VALBHS facilities and/or properties. These services involve monitoring and responding to daily facility service requests, close out and follow up of services conducted. Services include applications of insecticides and pesticides as needed, trapping, baiting, monitoring, removal of pests, pest droppings, and above ceiling sanitation and monitoring. The external, internal, and above ceiling requirements must be executed daily and simultaneously, in support of a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561710 and any resulting solicitation will be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download, and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments upon their posting to the Contract Opportunities website. The solicitation number will be 36C26224Q0425. It is the contractors' responsibility to monitor the Contract Opportunities website for the solicitation release and any/all subsequent amendments. All responsible sources may submit a quote in response to the solicitation when it is released. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be issued as a Firm Fixed-Price Award. The Government anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a 100% set aside for SDVOSB as a result of the solicitation. The period of performance for this procurement shall consist of one 1 Base Year and 4 Option Years each consisting of 12 months. The award date (Base Year) will begin on 04/01/2024.
