## Description

Due to the time lapse between the initial request, the GYN instruments were urgently needed, so that veterans could get the procedures that they need. Any further waiting would have continued to create a backlog of surgeries, which continues to jeopardize patients health. L1 Enterprises Inc, who are an authorized SDVSOSB distributor of Karl Storz, were able to supply the items immediately. This was a sole source award IAW 6.302-5
