This action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106?1(b)(1)(i) and 41 USC §1901, where only one source is reasonably available. Only one vendor is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the requirement. It is the Government’s belief that the proposed contractor is the only provider capable of supplying the Iridex CYCLO?G6 system with all required components, compatibility, and OEM specifications necessary to meet the agency’s needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112 (1,000 employees) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6540. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
