## Description

The Veterans Affairs Pacific Islands Health Care System's Office of Research and Development (ORD) is seeking to contract an Expert Lead for the Center for Pacific Islander Veterans Health (CPIVH). This position will report to the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Executive Office of the President of the United States.

The Expert Lead will collaborate with the VA CPIVH Center Director to provide specialized expertise and align the operations of external organizations with CPIVH's mission. Responsibilities include managing scheduled meetings, producing reports, delivering presentations, and coordinating funding requests from non-government institutions. The goal is to enhance access to care for Veterans across the United States and the Pacific Basin.

Additionally, the Expert Lead will work closely with university partners to expand medical education programs for medical professionals, communities, Veterans, and their families/caregivers. This role requires extensive knowledge of Veterans' health issues, experience in curriculum development with universities, substantial experience in managing complex projects, and clinical experience working with Veterans.
