## Description

The VISN21 Sierra Pacific Network requiresÂ Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy trainingÂ for 20 mental health clinicians toÂ increase access to this specialized treatment, particularly for conditions like PTSD.

ThisÂ virtual trainingÂ will be conducted by anÂ EMDRIA-certified instructorÂ in two three-day sessions during Fiscal Year 2025. The core objective is for participants to master theÂ Adaptive Information Processing approach, theÂ eight phases of EMDR therapy, and its application across diverse patient populations, including adaptations for telehealth. VISN 21 is seeking a certified EMDR Instructor to train 20 Mental Health Clinical staff.

The training must be approved by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).Upon completion of the course, participants are expected to have applied. The Adaptive Information Processing Theoretical Approach to psychotherapy.
