The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is is 541511, Custom Coputer Programming Services, $30.0 million SBA size standard and the Product Service Code (PSC) is Q201 – Medical – Managed Healthcare. This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1) to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) and 41 USC §1901, only one will meet the Government’s needs. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Government’s belief that the proposed vendor is the only provider of the maintenance and technical support for the UDI Tissue Tracking Software that can meet the agency’s needs.
