This Notice of Intent is for a proposed award of a sole source, firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) - Soliciting from a single source. This procurement is for services related to a Preventative Maintenance (PM) program for surgical instrumentation used in the operating room and in clinical procedures which includes repair, refurbish and assessment for replacement. In addition to the preventative maintenance program, a one-time, joint, wall-to-wall inventory of all surgical instruments contained within the Surgery Department and Sterile Processing Services (SPS) is required. Required services are to be completed weekly and will be conducted on 10 trays per visit (i.e., 20 trays per month). American Surgical Instrument Repair, LLC is a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business, uniquely qualified to complete the requirements of the proposed contract.
