This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) and 41 USC §1901, only one will meet the Government’s needs. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Government’s belief that the proposed candidate is the sole distributor of the Air Innovations Sterile Storage Cabinet systems can meet the agency’s needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112 (SURGICAL APPLIANCE AND INSTRUMENT MANUFACTURING), 1000 employees size standard and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515 (HOSPITAL FURNITURE, EQUIPMENT, UTENSILS, AND SUPPLIES). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
