The PureSteel Healthcare Reprocessing Sinks provides electronic push button height adjustment to meet ergonomic requirements for both technicians and nurses. It provides an ergonomic wrist rest to avoid pinch points during reprocessing to help reduce injuries. It also provides height adjustable shelving, an back wall pegboard, and enhanced lighting to assist with better vision. This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) and 41 USC §1901, only one will meet the Government s needs. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of PureStell Healthcare Reprocessing Sink that can meet the agency s needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone request will not be accepted.
