## Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT to award an out-of-scope modification for contract 36C26124C0065. The Government intends to execute an option to extend services in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services, for a sole source contract awarded to Bay Medic Transportation, Inc. per Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(2), Unusual and Compelling Urgency.

The modification will extend the existing contract 36C26124C0065 for up to 6 months to permit additional ground ambulance transportation services to eligible veterans in the area. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, interested parties may identify their capability or address any inquiries by responding to the Contract Specialist prior to 3:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, 27 September 2024, via email to joshua.barrios@va.gov. No reimbursement for any costs connected with providing capability information will be provided.
