The objective for performance under this contract is to provide the best practical chemical water treatment to reduce corrosion rate and mitigate legionella bacterial growth associated with the HVAC and Boiler closed-loop systems and cooling towers in accordance with VA Directives 1810 and 1061. Consulting and System Modernization: Monthly reports shall contain a short summary of such suggestions and note any adjustments to chemical feed rates. Recommendations for other than minor changes to the VA s systems shall require stand-alone reports.
