THE NEW FENCE WILL BE CONSTRUCTED WITH A CONCRETE MOW STRIP, TWO MOTORIZED VEHICLE GATES, TWO PERSONNEL GATES, AND REPLACE THE EXISTING 6-FOOT CHAIN-LINK FENCE. A VEHICLE FORTIFICATION WILL BE INCLUDED FOR APPROXIMATELY 1100 LINEAR FEET OF PERIMETER FENCE ALONG FOURTH PLAIN BLVD. STARTING APPROXIMATELY 100-FEET EAST FROM THE NORTHWEST CORNER FOLLOWING THE PERIMETER EASTWARD. THIS FORTIFICATION IS CONCRETE, 3-FEET TALL, AND SLOPED LIKE A JERSEY BARRIER ON THE FOURTH PLAIN BLVD SIDE. FORTIFICATION TO BE DESIGNED TO STOP AN IMPACT FROM A 4000 LB VEHICLE TRAVELING 30MPH. THE INTENT IS FOR THE REPAIR OF THIS TYPE OF IMPACT TO BE LIMITED TO SURFACE DAMAGE OF THE CONCRETE. HEADLIGHT SCREENING IS INCLUDED FOR APPROXIMATELY 450-FEET WHERE POW/MIA ROAD GETS CLOSE TO FOURTH PLAIN BLVD.
