Responses to this Sources Sought Announcement must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below.

**Background:** The Puget Sound VA Healthcare System, located in Seattle, WA is seeking a contractor to provide Commission on Cancer (CoC) Accreditation site visit. Scope. Site and annual accreditation by the Commission on Cancer for continued accreditation from the American College of Surgeons. Specific Tasks The Commission on Cancer will perform a site visit every three years. At this visit they will review patient records to ensure we are performing in accordance with the Commission on Cancer guidelines.

The CoC accreditation: • Demonstrates commitment to quality to patients, providers, payers, and policymakers. • Focuses on a system of care that ensures optimal treatment and outcomes. • Required participation in the National Cancer Database (NCDB) and access to numerous quality reporting tools enable CoC-accredited programs to compare their provision and timeliness of care and improve performance based on nationally recognized quality measures and standards of cancer care • Shows that accredited programs are dedicating resources to provide quality treatment and supportive care services to cancer patients.
