## Description

Amended Presolicitation Notice to include SDVOSB socio-economic setaisde: The White City VA Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking qualified SDVOSB contractors for services in Building 209. The scope of work includes the modification or replacement of three doorways to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Currently, the doorways feature solid wood doors in steel frames with hardware for closing and latching.

The project requires the doors to be converted into automatic doors, operable by ADA-compliant buttons. The goal is to retrofit the existing doors and/or door locations with low-energy, power-operated swinging doors that can be activated by pressing a button from both sides of the doorway. Contractors are encouraged to reuse existing components where feasible.

There are specific locations within Building 209 that require these modifications: First Floor:Â A single wood door in a steel frame providing access to the north wing. Second Floor:Â Two sets of opposing double doors, one set on each side of a central corridor, providing access to the north and south wings. This notice is for presolicitation purposes and is not an invitation for bids or a request for proposals.

Further details and solicitation documents will be provided in an upcoming release on or about 04/18/2025. Qualified SDVOSB contractors with relevant experience and capabilities are encouraged to prepare for participation. For additional information or inquiries, please contact Alan Perez at Alan.Perez@va.gov.
