Stryker Corporation 1941 Stryker Way Portage, MI 49002 SAM UEI: PJJ1HJS3LQD6 The Puget Sound Health Care System located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for a contractor to provide maintenance and support services necessary to maintain their Neptune 2 & 3 System equipment and Docking Stations in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Based on market research and previous acquisition history, it has been determined that the OEM, Stryker Corporation, is the only source with the qualifications and capability to perform the required services due to the proprietary nature of the system. The contract is expected to be awarded under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or highly specialized. Stryker Corporation is the only vendor who can perform maintenance on its Neptune equipment and ensure the installed systems performance is maintained, per Stryker Corporation Sole-Source letter. This will be a firm fixed price order with NAICS Code 811210 (Electronic & Precision Equipment Repair & Maintenance). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, quotations, or expressions of interest.
