The staff must be certified in the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) model. Additionally, the equine facility must be willing to utilize the EAGALA model in which VA staff are certified. EAGALA certification is necessary to ensure that the facility, equines, and staff are appropriately trained and can safely and effectively provide therapeutic services. The projected base year period of performance is from 07/15/2024 to 07/14/2025. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 624190 and the Business Size Standard is $16.0M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 10:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Monday, July 1st, 2024.
