The staining system must have the capability to analyze a wide range of samples from any tissue (human or animal), have the compatibility with a variety of tissue preparation approaches, be low maintenance and not require a full-time dedicated technician, and be able to have automated data collection and analysis in software that comes with the instrument. The MACSima system consists of a liquid handling system, an automated working stage for precise positioning of samples and reagents, and an integrated microscope up to 20x magnification. The MACSima imaging system includes MACS iQ View Software solutions. The MACSima Imaging System uses MICS (MACSima Imaging Cyclic Staining) technology to acquire microscopy data for hundreds of markers using primary fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies on a single sample without harming the sample.
