Requirement The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) is seeking to establish a Cost-Per-Test (CPT) agreement to furnish a replacement system for rapid microbial identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (ID/AST) in support of its microbiology laboratory operations. The requested system must provide performance capabilities comparable to matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry and automated microbial identification platforms. The system shall support testing across a wide spectrum of pathogens, including bacteria, mycobacteria, and fungi, and must fully comply with the technical specifications and performance criteria outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Refer to the attached solicitation package for the contract line-item numbers (LINs), quantities, and detailed technical requirements in the SOW.
