This acquisition will be conducted under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract to DiaSorin, Inc. for continued maintenance and support of the DiaSorin LIAISON XL Analyzer. DiaSorin, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and exclusive provider of the proprietary equipment, software, replacement parts, maintenance, and technical support required for the LIAISON XL Analyzer. The Government has determined that no other source can provide the required services while maintaining manufacturer specifications, system integrity, and full operational capability. Therefore, DiaSorin, Inc. is considered the only responsible source capable of meeting the Government's minimum requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their capabilities and submit information demonstrating their ability to provide the required supplies and services This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available, and telephone inquiries will not be honored. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond no later than 10:00 AM CST on November 2, 2026.
