This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; due to the unique characteristics needed for this service EMD Millipore Corp. is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Therefore, this service is typically procured through a Sole Source without competition under FAR 6.302-1. REQUIRED SERVICES: The Contractor shall conduct an annual maintenance visit, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical checks of the system. The contractor shall provide comprehensive checkups of the system specifications and operational functions. The contractor shall replace worn parts using a system-specific maintenance kit. The contractor shall test and make sure auditable service operating procedures are correct. Contractor shall also make sure software and firmware are updated as required by manufacturer. Under this PM schedule the contractor will make sure all necessary parts are replaced free of charge. The contractor will provide unlimited troubleshooting/repair visits during normal business hours of Monday Friday, 8am 5PM.
