No other changes were made via this amendment. **07/14/2025 Amendment 0001:** The purpose of this amendment is to provide clarification to the proposal submission requirements. No other changes have been made via this amendment. The purpose of this synopsis is to notify potential Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), in accordance with the requirements of Public Law 109-461, of this requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 16 has a requirement for add thermostatic mixing valves (TMV) for anti-scald protection at the John L. McClellan (JLM) Memorial Veterans Hospital Building 1 and Eugene J. Towbin (EJT) campus at Buildings 170 and 190 for plumbing fixtures where people access water from the potable hot water distribution system. Contractor shall perform work in accordance with plans and specifications for project Mixing Valve for Anti-Scald 598-22-127 at the Eugene J. Towbin Memorial Veterans Hospital (EJT) in North Little Rock, AR, and John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital (JLM) in Little Rock, AR. EJT and JLM are part of the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) and are located at 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114 and 4300 West 7th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205, respectively. Any contract awarded will cover work at both campuses. Contract award will occur upon evaluation and selection of the proposals determined to best serve the Government. The period of performance will be 365 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The abbreviated scope of work for this project is to add thermostatic mixing valves (TMV) for anti-scald protection at the John L. McClellan (JLM) Memorial Veterans Hospital Building 1 and Eugene J. The magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Interested offerors are asked to please first read over the RFP and all its associated attachments/documents in their entirety prior to forwarding any questions to the Contracting Officer. A cut-off time/date for receipt of questions will be established and listed in the RFP as well as a time/date for the scheduled Site Visit. Only one Site Visit will be conducted and no requests for additional Site Visits or make-up Site Visits will be granted.
