The solicitation number is 36C25624Q1242 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action will initiate a new service agreement/contract to test and certify the backflow preventers throughout the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System, New Orleans, La. The backflow preventers are required to be tested annually. The proposed service agreement/contract would cover maintenance and support services for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. The contractor shall provide all parts, travel, labor and materials necessary to provide the testing, repairs, and certification of the backflow preventers and cross connections described herein located at 2400 Canal St., New Orleans, LA. The Contractor shall conduct comprehensive testing and certifications on the backflow preventers. The contractor shall maintain an accurate log file/inventory of all backflow preventers being repaired. Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS.
