This is a notice of intent to sole source.

The overall purpose is to provide quarterly Decontamination Services for Roche Staining units for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS), Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service Anatomic Pathology Section, Room 4F139, 2400 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119. This service is necessary to maintain the optimal operation of the units which are used to prepare automated diagnostic slides utilizing a variety of specialized staining reagents for patient biopsy samples.

This will be a Sole Source purchase as the proprietary nature of the technology contained in the units requires that only Roche Diagnostics Corporation personnel perform certain maintenance and service procedures.
