Ortho Clinical Diagnostics is the proprietor of the reagents for the Ortho Manual GEL System and there are no known authorized distributors of Ortho Clinical Diagnostics reagents and supplies. Physicians rely on these test results in the treatment of patients with anemia, leukemia, factor deficiency, bleeding disorders, immunocompromised patients needing a blood transfusion, etc. Any other brand will result in duplication of costs and delay in conducting necessary tests to maintain adequate Veterans healthcare support.
