We have purchased several different brands of -80c freezers in the past most are at are past lifecycle. We are looking to standardize the fleet of -80c freezers to ensure uniformity of maintenance and performance. In the future we will be expanding our research department and the need for -80c freezers will grow with the expansion. The goal of this purchase is to begin to standardize the -80c freezers we have in research as well as to meet our future needs.
