36C25226Q0525 0001 Page 2 of 2 CONTINUATION PAGE Grease Trap Services Solicitation # 36C252-26-Q-0525 - Vendor Questions and Answers 1. I respectfully request clarification regarding the size of the lift stations. We were not able to locate that information on the solicitation documents. The grease traps are for the kitchen areas where food is prepared and there is a possibility of grease going down the drain. (Lifting stations are for human waste disposal). 2. Please clarify the disposal requirement.

The description states that the contractor shall dispose of grease at facilities located at the Tomah VA Medical Center. Does the Tomah VA provide an approved onsite disposal or receiving facility for grease-trap waste? If so, please identify the disposal location, procedures, operating hours, capacity restrictions, and any applicable fees. If not, please confirm that the contractor must transport the waste to an offsite licensed receiving facility and include all transportation and disposal costs in its price.

The Tomah VA does not provide an approved onsite disposal or receiving facility for grease-trap waste. The contractor is responsible for transporting the waste to an offsite location. Please refer to the Performance Work Statement (Section B.3) in the solicitation. 3. Please provide the number, location, type, rated capacity, approximate current contents, and required cleaning frequency of each grease trap or interceptor.

Please also specify required service documentation, including disposal manifests, volume tickets, photographs, and inspection reports. Refer to Section B.3 Performance Work Statement for building locations, cleaning frequency, and grease trap sizes. Current content in the grease traps is grease. The government does not require service documentation/reports upon completion of service. 4. If not brand new, could you please provide the current/previous contract number? The current contract number for Grease Trap Cleaning Services at the Tomah VA Medical Center is 36C252-22-P-0128.
