## Description

Vendor Questions Could the Government please confirm whether the expected service frequency is one (1) day per month? One day per month for instrument Sharpening and repair. Sterilizer Cleaning- 2 will need to be cleaned every four months (we currently get one free now). Can the Government clarify the approximate number of surgical instrument sets or trays that will require service during each scheduled visit? The majority of our instrument sets are very small.

It is estimated that approximately 400-500 individual instruments would require service each month. Sections 4 and 5 reference various devices, including powered surgical instruments, cameras, electric/battery-powered devices, and pneumatic instruments. Could the Government confirm whether these device types are included in the scope of this solicitation or if this is for general surgical instrument set maintenance and repair only?

The facility has a very small number of instruments that contain cameras, are electric/battery powered, and pneumatic. It is possible that these items may also require maintenance and repair, however the vast majority of instruments are just general surgical and dental instruments.

For the devices noted in Question 3 or for any equipment beyond standard handheld surgical instruments that will require service can the Government provide an inventory list that includes the make, model, serial number, and quantity of each item to ensure accurate pricing for these types of equipment? Stryker TPX MicroPower Electric Handpiece and saw attachments, a small variety of dental handpieces.

If these additional device types are indeed included, would the Government consider modifying the Cost Schedule to incorporate separate line items for these categories to allow for appropriate and accurate pricing? If there would be additional device types needed that are not included in the Statement of Work, it is possible that a modification could be considered. Section 5 references case cart services.

Could the Government provide the manufacturer/brand of the case carts and the total number of units anticipated to be serviced annually? There are approximately 12 Pedigo case carts We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. This would be a new contract we are currently utilizing a PC to meet this requirement. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

N/A Would you happen to have an equipment list for the items that are being considered for the Instrument Sharpening and Repair Services? I know that there are classes of equipment, but didn t know if you had an exact list with OEMs/Serial Numbers/etc. Yes, we could provide a list, however it would probably not be helpful as there are no OEMs or serial numbers. We have a variety of general dental and surgical instruments that require preventative maintenance and sharpening at different intervals, based on usage.
