## Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA Regional Procurement Office Central, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, Network Contracting Office 12, located at 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214-1476 intends to award a sole source, base plus four (4) option year, FSS contract, for Enterprise Mail Management, Mailroom Equipment Lease, with FedRamp required cloud-based services, from Pitney Bowes Inc., 3001 Summer Street, Stamford, CT 06926. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 8.405-6(b), items peculiar to one manufacturer and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.

Contract is firm fixed price, and it is the Government s belief the proposed candidate is the sole manufacturer capable of meeting the requirement. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 561499 and the Small Business Size Standard is $21.5M. The Clement J Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 W National Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53295-1000, has a requirement for brand name only, Pitney Bowes Mailroom equipment with required FedRamp cloud-based services.

This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available at this time. Interested parties may give written notice to Erica.Grimslid@va.gov by 17:00pm CST on 03/13/2025. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.

Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
