## Description

The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Safepoint, LLC of Sanford, FL to provide the Safepointe weapon detection system, to include installation and three years of automated monitoring with subscription for the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Chicago, IL. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.

Contract is firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 334519. The system also provides a real-time detailed alert review summary to predetermined devices located in Police Operations. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored.

However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.

Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer mail via VAMC GLAC, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee WI 53214 or via fax to (414) 844-4888.
