## Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract for Hemodialysis and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) services on behalf of the William S. Middleton VA Hospital (Madison VAH) located at 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705 with the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics (UWHC), 600 Highland Avenue, Madison, WI 53792. The resultant contract will consist of a five-year ordering period with an anticipated award date of November 1, 2024. The UWHC is an institution affiliated with the Madison VAH.

Sole source contracts to affiliated educational institutions are preferred and Authorized or Required by Statute per 41 USC 3304(a)(5) as implemented by FAR 6.302-5. Dialysis services are required for Veterans 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days per year to include holidays at the Madison VA Hospital. The UWHC will provide a pool of qualified Registered Nurses, all dialysis equipment, supplies, and pharmaceuticals. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes. No telephone responses will be accepted.
