## Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 12) Great Lakes Acquisition Center anticipates entering a single source procurement with Air Quality Innovative Solutions, LLC (AQUIS) for the Jesse Brown VAMC in Chicago, Illinois. This acquisition is conducted under FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The VAMC is looking for vendors to:

Coordinate with the COR to de-energize the AHUs. Isolate the air handling units by sealing off adjacent ductwork and with negative air machines. Clean and prepare all surfaces that will be addressed by AQUIS including the removal of non-compliant coatings and foams. Reinforce compromised surfaces with steel as needed to restore structure. Apply AQUIS Low Temperature EFX Epoxy (self-leveling) at 3/16 nominal thickness and 6 up walls throughout chamber floors immediately upstream of 1 coils.

Apply AQUIS Low Temperature EFX Epoxy (self-leveling) at 3/16 nominal thickness and 6 up walls throughout remaining chamber floors and condensate pans downstream of 1 coils. Apply AQUIS Fire Barrier over all epoxy for compliance with NFPA 90A fire codes. Apply AQUIS Antimicrobial Topcoat over all fire barriers. Apply AQUIS Multicrylic, corrosion resistant, antimicrobial coating on walls, ceiling, fan housing, and structural steel. Confirm proper operation of existing drains and traps.

Test AHU for proper drainage prior to recommissioning Clean and refurbish coils. Generate a detailed installation report. Other entities can provide the above referenced service may identify your capabilities and respond by no later than Thursday, March 7, 2024 8:00 AM, Central Time. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested entities submitting a response to this notice must do so no later than the period specified for consideration.

A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received because of the notice of intent will normally be considered for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
