Due to construction and renovations, the William S. Middleton VA Hospital s current signage/wayfinding system is approximately fifty percent Creative Sign Services, Inc. systems. Per VA Design Manual, implementation of a component system requires commitment to a specific manufacturer s system. Furthermore, once a component system from a manufacturer is selected, it should become the standard for the facility. Under FAR Subpart 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) order must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow on to an order already issued. Creative Sign Services, Inc. will continue to use its systems and supplies to provide materials, inspection, maintenance, and installation services to keep the William S. Middleton VA Hospital, Madison, WI wayfinding signage functional and up to date. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of FAR Part 8.404. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The NAICS Code is 339950. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services to the Contracting Officer by 10:00 AM LOCAL on 7/1/2024.
