Description of requirements: The VA Detroit Behavioral Health Department has a requirement for digital component construction of prefabricated glass and solid core wall and panel for the Detroit Michigan campus that meets the VHA specifications and Environment of Care requirements for Inpatient Mental Health, MHEOC Guidance. Safety concerns were noted during a recent assessment of the behavioral health department which identified several deficiencies related to staff and patient safety. The nursing station was left unattended and there were several unsecured items at the desk, which is a viable risk. Patient access to the nursing station is a result of low divider walls and lack of adequate barriers. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement.
