## Description

Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, located at 2780 Airport Drive, Suite 340, Columbus, OH, Chalmers P Wylie Veterans Affairs Ambulatory Care Center (VAAC), Columbus, OH, has established a need for diagnostic, repair, and verify proper operation of Boiler #2 s water level sensor, control programming, and control valves CV 1 and CV 3. Intent of this procurement is tuning Boilers 1, 2, and to ensure boilers operate efficiently and within specification ranges.

This will be a new requirement, however, due to the unique specifications to the current software system for the current boiler systems installed at Columbus, OH VAAC. This procurement will be a sole source for Analytical & Combustion Systems (ACS) to perform maintenance services to ensure continuity and reduce disruption to daily patient care under current proprietary software. The associated NAICS code for this is 332410 (Power Boiler and Heat Exchanger Manufacturing).

The vendor will be Analytical & Combustion Systems (ACS), 6 Berkshire Blvd Ste 306, Bethel, CT 06801, an authorized distributor operates Chalmers P Wylie Veterans Affairs Ambulatory Care Center (VAAC) Boiler System.

**Description of Services:** Diagnostic, repair, and verify proper operation of Boiler #2 s water level sensor, control programming, and control valves CV 1 and CV 3. Intent of this procurement is tuning Boilers 1, 2, and to ensure boilers operate efficiently and within specification ranges. A firm-fixed price contract shall be awarded. It is in the best interest of the Government to continue with the proposed candidate due to the proprietary data of this system and the need for requested modifications.
