## Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System in Ann Arbor, MI. 48105 is soliciting and intends to award a Sole Source firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract to provide off-site Full Body Autopsy and Whole Brain Dementia Evaluation services, under NAICS Code 621999, size standard $20.5 million.

The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) (contracting officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available), to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Regents of the University of Michigan (503 Thompson St., Ann Arbor, MI. 48109).

The Contractor shall provide off-site comprehensive autopsy services at contractor s facility, along with whole brain dementia evaluation services, transportation and storage of bodies for VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This will be for the period of 12 months after the Date of Award plus four, 12- month option years, in strict accordance with the Performance Work Statement, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. No solicitation package is available.

A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 12:00 pm Eastern time on July 9, 2025.
