Special Notice Special Notice Page 3 of 3 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice 36C25025Q0184 Page 1 of 3 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran Health Indiana, Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLRVAMC) in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i), Urgency intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Sexson Mechanical Company, LLC., for RLRVAMC Salt Tank Repair. NAICS 237110 applies, the small business size standard is $45.0 million.

Contractor shall immediately mobilize to remove the brine, salt, gravel, and residue from the salt tanks, thoroughly clean the tanks and replace the two damaged float valves. December 26, 2024, through March 6, 2025, in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions and provisions of the contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available.

A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am EDT on December 26, 2024. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be emailed to Courtney.Seevers@va.gov and Tiera.Sims@va.gov.
