Questions and Answers (Solicitation 36C25024Q1001) All paragraphs sited below refer to the Combined Synopsis Solicitation Statement of Work 1. After reviewing the specifications it was noted that the new dish machine is to be electric: 3.1.8  Power Supply: 208-240V/60Hz/3Ph . However special mention is made of the existing steam lines: 3.2.9 STEAM . Please note that for an electrically heated machine steam line connection is not necessary. We would like confirmation again that the new machine is to be electrically heated/powered and not direct steam powered please.

**Answer:** The dishwasher is steam heated but requires electrical to power the machine 2 General Conditions- Mentions conveyor system, is this part of the scope? There is no info regarding removal and disposal of conveyor system Answer: The conveyor system will remain, only the dishwasher is being replaced. 3. 3.1.13 Mentions Water Disposal System/Collector- This was not in the bid Answer: No water disposal system/collector is required.

4. 3.2.8 Connecting Soap and Sanitizer to machine- This is typically done by the VA chemical company Answer: Correct, Ecolab will be installing the soap and sanitizer to the machine. 5. 3.2.9Â Steam piping is routed by facilities to within 12 - Would facilities make the final connection?

**Answer:** The VA Facility will get the steam pipes to within 12 inches and the installers will make the final connections. 6. 3.2.10 States disposal system/collector will NOT be replaced- Is this true?

**Answer:** Correct, disposal system/collector will not be replaced. 7. 4.1 Offer shall provide a warranty for installation- How long is the warranty to be?
